Does the Rug Doctor Work? Mercer County NJ
As a carpet cleaner I get asked many questions while in clients homes. Lately I have been asked the same question enough times to get me thinking of this article. The Rug Doctor, does it work?
Since I am a professional cleaner you may be thinking that this article will be full of reasons why it doesn't work, that will not be the case. I will be as unbiased as possible.
The Rug Doctor has many of the qualities one should look for in a carpet cleaning machine.
1. Solution pump
4. Cleaning Solution.
So will it get your get your carpets clean? The answer is yes, it will remove the soiling from your carpeted areas, although the steps will prove to be a difficult task. The biggest problem that I see with the machine itself is the fact that although it will lay out the cleaning solution properly, it does not have adequate vacuum power to remove enough of the water from your rug. This will leave residue which will cause rapid re-soiling. Also I feel that the lack of soil suspension, an industry word for pre spray which literally separates the dirt from the fibers of the carpet before extraction will be sorely missed. Lastly the time needed to thoroughly clean your carpets with the Rug Doctor will be lengthy.
